Effective Communication Workshop: The Art of Communicating Effectively - Bhupinder Gill

The evening consisted of a 90 minute workshop followed by general networking.
Art of Communicating Effectively provides communication tools that will transform your life and your relationships. It is a simple and powerful process whereby you can learn to meet your needs without sacrifice or conflict. You will learn to develop compassionate connections with yourself and others, and learn to communicate effectively both on a personal and professional level.

Learn How to:
• Express your feelings and needs - to both sexes!
• Have your needs met
• Remove barriers to communication
• Resolve conflicts peacefully : non- violent communication
• Deal with anger
• Improve personal and professional relationships

This event was held at the Bedford Academy 2nd floor, 36 Prince Arthur.

An evening with Sarah Harmer & Michelle Rumball - November 6, 2006

An evening of fun, and socialising and music presented by Canadian Singer-Song Writer Sarah Harmer and Toronto Folk Singer Michelle Rumbal plus help us celebrate the Green Divas! This event was held at the Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen Street West. Natalie Helferty and Erin Shapero will be on hand as well as Other Green Divas & Honourary Divas from across the GTA -- members of the Municipal Councillors for the Greenbelt, both women and men alike!

Inaugural Meeting - June 29th 2006

The Environmental Womens Alliance held its inaugural meeting on Thursday June 29th at the Victory Cafe 581 Markham Street. The evening consisted of a short introduction to the Alliance followed by 20 minute presentation from Elizabeth May (Green Party leader and former Director of the Sierra Club of Canada) giving tips on how she manages to balance her busy work and family life. Afterward there was time for everyone to mingle, socialize and make new friends and contacts!
